TORONTO TRANSPORT

Toronto Transportation - There are busses, subways and streetcars to take you all around the city. You can purchase a pass that lasts all day for $7.50. That’s the best way to get the most out of your dollar in Toronto. The subway is really efficient and convenient. There are two main routes and also two smaller lines. They run from about 6am to 1.30 am except on Sundays when there is a later start at 9 am. Buses go all over the city and you should check with your hotel to know the bus routes that are convenient for the hotel and your sightseeing. There are also street cars – termed the Red Rockets. A single fare takes you anywhere but you need a “transfer slip” when you move between the subway, bus, streetcar etc. You need the exact change so that a day pass is convenient.

Travel Guide

There are taxis, limos and rental cars if you prefer to travel in any of these ways. You should also know that there are plenty of tours that will take you around the city so keep that in mind too while you’re visiting.

However you decide to get around when you’re in Toronto, be sure to carry a set of maps with you at all times. Ask your hotel if they offer a shuttle for your convenience. You’ll just love seeing the most of Toronto.

Have fun, because there is much to be done. We know that you’ll love Toronto the more you see of it.
